Narcotics Arrest
On August 11, 2022, officers of the Rolla Area Drug Enforcement Task Force, Rolla Police Department, and Phelps County Sheriff’s Department concluded a long term narcotics investigation in the 100 block of Savannah Court in Rolla, Missouri.
A search warrant was executed on the residence by law enforcement officers. As a result Cocaine, Marijuana, Ecstasy, Suboxone, Percocet, and a handgun were all seized during the search.
As a result of the investigation, George H. Barsoum age 23 of Rolla, Missouri was arrested for five counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful use of a weapon. He was incarcerated in the Phelps County Jail. Warrants were later issued on the six counts with a $200,000 cash or surety bond.
Chief Sean Fagan commended the efforts of all of the officers involved. “This is yet another fine example of our law enforcement agencies working closely together to try to combat the drug problem within our community.”
The charges for which George H. Barsoum were arrested are merely accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
